A New Beginning

33 hours of flying, 7 airports, 6 airplane safety demonstrations, 3 continents, 2 oceans, and 1 giant shit at 36,000 feet later and I have finally arrived in Chania, Greece from Vietnam. Jetlagged does not even begin to describe how I feel right now. Jetfucked still isn't quite there but its closer. I also never want to step foot in another airport or watch another safety demonstration again. If I ever am involved in an airplane emergency, and am going to just start screaming "MY BAG IS NOT INFLATING DOES THAT MEAN OXYGEN IS STILL FLOWING!?" and "MAY I OR MAY I NOT USE MY SEAT CUSHION AS A FLOTATION DEVICE?!"over and over again just to piss off the stewardesses.

Just moved into my new place, and I can already tell I am going to love this city. My apartment has a swimming pool and I am right next to the beach. The only concern on my mind at the moment is if I will be able to resist the urge of kicking anyone near a edge/cliff and screaming "This is Chania!" like I am King Leonidas. You think I'm joking but I was so close to doing it to an old lady at the Athens airport.

Anyway it's time for a meeting with the others from my program and to explore my new kingdom. More later.
